PRÄTERITUM OF IRREGULAR VERBS




There are about 200 irregular verbs in the German language. You do not need to know all of them. Like the past participle or Partizip II, the Präteritum may look quite different from the Infinitiv. In fact, you have seen the Präteritum of some of the irregular verbs. Test yourself and your feel for the language. See if you know the Präteritum of the following verbs.
